Who approaches a diet thinking “I want this to take a long time.” Most of us would love to get results over night. Unfortunately, this is simply not possible-at least not if you plan to use healthy means of getting there. However, losing weight quickly is possible if you know how to go about doing it. You do not have to agonize for years with a diet that makes you miserable. Instead, learn the best techniques for your body. No, I am not saying you can continue to eat a box of cookies or candy each night. Those should be the first things to go. Cut sugars and fatty foods out as much as you possibly can. I am not referring to soda or fruit drinks. I only mean pure water. Not only does water keep you hydrated, but it makes losing weight quickly easy by flushing out your body. Some people do not realize it but, by not getting enough water in they may be retaining it and adding to their weight. Those in this situation may discover losing weight quickly just means adding more water to their daily intake.

Water can also affect your hunger. The symptoms of dehydration can include headaches and hunger pangs. These types of things may be misread and treated with food. Rather than eating more than you really need to, double check your water levels.

Crash diets may work to lose some weight, but they will not work to lose body fat fast. Instead you lose muscle tone and water weight. And the likelihood of regaining some or all of the weight increases once you stop the diet.
