Will I lose weight if I Dont Exercise, But Pay Attention Only To My Diet ?

An understanding of fat burning exercise and nutrition are both vital to achieve and sustain permanent weight loss and fat reduction. But does diet or exercise help more to lose weight?? Scientists carried out a couple of exercises to fcome up with the answer.

Weight Loss Studies

There have only been a few studies to establish whether fat burning exercise or nutrition has a bigger impact on fat burning. The professionals were interested in what results would emerge from the studies.

They studied people who moved from big cities to the suburbs, and the reverse, to determine the affect of the move on the weight of the subjects. The subjects in the cities and the suburbs had similar diet intakes. The findings were of interest despite the fact that there no surprises.

What the studies revealed

  • within the first year of moving from a city to the suburbs, the participants in the studies gained, on average, 15 pounds
  • within the first six to eight months of moving to a city from the suburbs, the subjects in the studies lost an average of 15 pounds

The main conclusion of the studies was as follows: The subjects living in a city did more walking than the subjects living in the suburbs. Suburbanites used their cars more than city dwellers to get from place to place, while city dwellers walked more. This was responsible for the weight change.

The professionals agree that if you want to lose weight, exercise will be a bigger factor than nutrition. In terms of the relative impact that exercise and nutrition have on weight loss, it was said that exercise is accountable for 65% while nutrition is 35%.

If you want to get rid of the excess weight and fat on your body, you will need to exercise as well as pay attention to nutrition. But the consumate human being and the consummate world does not exist.

Even if you havent moved from or to a city, does the study results have meaning for you?

Can you burn fat and lose weight permanently if:

  • you follow the right exercise routine, but do not change your diet?
  • you follow a good weight loss diet, but dont exercise at all?
  • you do not wholly adopt the guidance on exercise and nutrition?

1. Regrettably muscle training by itself will not get you the flat belly and defined abs you’re searching for.  In spite of empty promises from miracle weight loss products, nutrition and exercise will always reign supreme.  BUT there are several ways to step up your workouts, particularly when doing resistance training.  Let’s say today workout is three different abs exercises in which you are going to perform 3 sets of 12-15 repetitions each.  This time instead of carrying out one set and resting or being consumed in thoughts of the day, unite all 3 exercises into one super set.  What this means is doing one set of crunches, then without rest performing a set of leg lifts and then yet again without rest doing a set of twists.  You may rest for one or two minutes after you complete the super set.  An extra advantage of this type of training is that is will elevate your body temperature more rapidly.  What that means is extra calories burned, which equates to fat loss, which equals a flat tummy!!

2. When doing abs crunches it is essential to tuck your chin into your chest and do not use your hands as leverage pulling your head and neck. Place your hands across your chest or barely touching the sides of your head.  Do not grab or pull at the back of your head.  This not only cheats your abs out of a proper workout, it can cause neck injury.  Allow you neck muscle do what they are intended to do: Hold up the weight of your head.

3. For females attempting to get a sleek and sexy mid section, weighted side/oblique exercises should be avoided.  Adding muscle mass to this part of the body could cause your physique to have a block and/or square look which is not what most women are looking for.  Too much muscle in this area can throw off your proportions.

4. Do the hundreds of products that I’ve witnessed on infomercials or at the sporting good store help any more than what I’ve discussed in this article? NO!!  You are better off saving your money and following these tips instead.  Those machines offer no additional advantage over conventional exercises and ofter have some kind of instrument to aid your movement making the exercise easier. Although this can be a positive note if your abdominal muscles are extremely weak.

What Is the Best Way to Burn Calories?

Presently there isn’t a secret to dropping pounds (unless you pick the surgical methods). There are actually things you can do to boost rate of the weight loss and one of these is to use up more calories. You should see significant results once you burn up more than you take in. But a lot of people want to know, “what is the easiest way to burn up calories”? Using a lot of calories and using up calories fast are are two different elements in dropping pounds, but there are some ways you have available to have the two desired effects.

So what on earth is a Calorie?

A Calorie is a unit of energy supplied by what you eat. Calories are converted into fats if the body takes in more than what it needs. What it would mean to use calories is that you use more energy than first ingested from food and liquids. Even more calories will be burnt if the heart rate is higher for a prolonged time period. Calories are generally used up from any use of energy like breathing, chewing, exercising or even kissing. The best way to use up calories if you’re working to shed extra pounds is through exercise.

Right Approach to Use Calories Quickly

Today, with our active schedule, it is extremely tough to find the time to squeeze in time at the gym. Among the best ways to burn off calories would be to increase the intensity of your workout. When doing exercises, aim to get about sixty to eighty percent of your target heart rate. And if working on weight training, in between sets, take a shorter period to rest. You can expect to use more calories if you give your muscles a quicker period to rest between sets. When getting aerobic exercise with intervals, one of the simplest ways to burn off calories is likewise if you include shorter recovery times.

One of the Simplest Ways to Burn Up Even more Calories

Burning up more calories and burning calories quickly can overlap with each other. If taking a easy jog or going for a stroll, your body will not hit that level where it would burn off extra fat due to the fact that your heart rate is not high enough. Lifting weights is likely one of the best approaches to use up more calories since you will also burning them up following your workout. Your metabolism is higher even more energy must be used when you keep the body’s muscle groups toned and leaner.

One of the best ways to use calories is from working out. The very best exercises you are able to do are cardio and strength training. The first exercises take oxygen to your muscle groups like jogging, swimming, bicycling, hiking or any other kind of cardio exercises. The second exercises (like working out with weights) really don’t require oxygen and have quicker jolts of activity fueled by energy in your muscle groups.

Whittle Down The Waist With A Pal

There are not many of us that get excited about the idea of running a half marathon before the rooster has finished crowing and then gulp down a wheat grass and beetroot concoction for breakfast. It would be nice to say that that is how you start your day, but let’s be realistic - it’s just not much fun.

In a desperate attempt to believe in the powers of weight loss while still on your couch some of you might have even tried to vibrate off the fat through an at home massager. If you have done that, then you know it doesn’t work. Truthfully the only thing that does guarantee weight loss is regular exercise. The key is to make it fun and motivating.

One of the best ways to get yourself into the habit of exercising is to find an exercise buddy who also wants to get fit and lose weight. They might be a friend, colleague, family member, neighbor - whatever as long as they want to accompany you on the path to toned thighs.

Arranging to do exercises with another person has been studied and shown to help people get into the habit of exercising and keep going longer. People who start exercising with a friend are much more likely to still be exercising after two months of starting.

It could be that having someone else to do something with is a lot more fun than doing it alone and this motivates you. It could be that the competitive streak in you comes out when you are working out with another person and you refuse to let them beat you in the number of repetitions done in the muscle workout routine.

It is also much harder to blow off your scheduled exercise when you have to meet up with someone. No one likes to feel like they are letting others down and you are much more likely to get yourself to the gym or field if there is someone waiting for you there.

If you want to build muscle mass fast and lose weight, then hooking up with a friend or acquaintance is one of the most effective things that you can do. In no time at all you will be seeing the positive health results and will probably have strengthened a friendship into the bargain.

Making Your Weight Loss Goals And Reaching Them

Once you decide you are going to lose some weight, you need to make some goals for doing so. They can be whatever you want but they should be ones that will really motivate you. They need to be realistic but such that you have to push yourself.

After you have the goals set, then you need to create a plan for achieving them. Part of the plan will be how you want to eat. The other part should be what kind of exercise you plan on doing to get there. In order to lose weight you have to be burning calories in excess to the ones you are eating. To do this healthfully, you will need to eat well and not be on a starvation diet.

So, without starving yourself, you have to work out to burn the calories you eat. In the beginning, it is a good idea to hire a personal trainer. The trainer will design an exercise program for you to help you reach your specific goals.

There are a variety of ways to measure your results. You can go by the pounds that you lose or have a goal weight in mind. You can also measure your success by the size of clothes you can wear. Or you might track it by the type of clothes you can wear. It might be your goal to lose enough to wear skinny jeans.

The fit of your clothing is actually a really good way to measure your success. When you start working out, you will gain muscle. As muscle is heavier than fat, you can get frustrated when you do not see a loss in weight. You need to be looking at more than a scale.

Make some intermediary goals for yourself so you can feel like you are accomplishing something. This will keep you going on your plan. Give yourself a treat when you reach one of the goals but try to find things to reward yourself with that do not involve food.

Keep thinking about the jeans you are going to be wearing when you reach your end goal. Think of a whole outfit that you can put on. There just might be a brown boot that goes just right with those jeans. Your interim rewards can be the accessories you want to put with the outfit. Boots, a necklace and earrings can all be purchases as you are hitting your other targets.

Just keep to your plan and do not get discouraged. If you work hard and dedicate yourself to it, your goals will be reached. All the effort will be worth in when you see yourself in your new outfit.
